The ledger, read left to right

Name, what we actually do, how long it takes, and what it costs. The price is the basis we start from. When we have looked at the name and the zone, you get a written quote with a single number on it, and that number is the one that applies.

Most clients buy two things at once. A domain status check before a purchase, then mail setup once the name is theirs. Or a transfer that pulls four scattered names into one account, followed by renewal watch so none of them lapses again. We say which combination makes sense when we reply; we do not bundle things you did not ask for.

Prices are per domain because the work is per domain. A second name on the same registrar and the same mail provider is quicker, and the quote reflects that rather than a percentage off.

06 / Owners and buyers

Domain sale or description page

Scope

A plain one-page statement of a name's status and history. For an owner, a domain for sale page that answers buyer questions up front. For a buyer, the same facts in a printable report.

Turnaround

3 working days

Price basis

From USD 200 per page

Indicative

Indicative. The written quote after we look at the name is what counts. Registrar fees, mail provider subscriptions and the price of any name you buy are paid by you, directly to them.

02 / Which one

Start fromthe symptom.

People rarely arrive knowing the service name. They arrive with a problem. Match yours below; if it is not listed, send it anyway.

"Invoices land in spam"

Mail setup. Usually it is SPF over 10 lookups, a missing DKIM key, or two SPF records. If you want to check the first one yourself, the SPF calculator counts the lookups.

"I want to buy a name someone owns"

Domain status check first. To buy a domain from the owner without surprises you need the history, the lock codes and the blocklist result before you make an offer, not after.

"Our names are in four accounts"

Transfer and consolidation, then renewal watch. We start with the name closest to expiry and leave anything transferred in the last 60 days until its lock clears.

"We are opening and need a name"

The shortlist. A domain name for small business has to survive being read aloud over a bad phone line. Ours are tested for exactly that.

"I am selling a name I no longer use"

A sale page. Buyers trust a listing that shows the registration date and a clean blocklist result. We write it; you choose where to list it.

"The site went down and nobody knows why"

A domain status check. Expired name, cancelled DNS host or a serverHold code. The report says which in plain words and what to do in what order.

03 / Every job

How each job runs, whatever it is.

  1. You send the name and the problem

Through the form, the chat or an email. One sentence is enough. We run public lookups before we reply, usually the same working day.

  2. We send a written quote

One number, what it covers, and what we need from you. Typically read access to the registrar or DNS host, granted as a delegate or a temporary user, never your password.

  3. We do the work and write it down

Every record changed is logged with its old value and its new one. If anything needs undoing, the log says exactly what to put back.

  4. You receive the domain card

One page with the name, registrar, expiry, lock status, nameservers, DNSSEC, MX target and SPF lookup count. Within 30 days of handover we re-check the records free if something looks wrong.

04 / Before you ask

Price and scope,answered.

Why is the price a starting figure and not a fixed one?

Because a zone with six records and a zone with sixty are different jobs. A clean name takes us an hour; one with a 2014 marketing tool still sending as you takes most of a day. We look first, then quote one number.

Do you need my registrar password?

No. Most registrars and DNS hosts let you add a second user or a delegate. Where they do not, we walk you through the change on a call while you click. We do not store client passwords.

Who is this not for?

If you need a new website, a hosting plan or someone to negotiate the price of a name, look elsewhere. If you send 200,000 marketing emails a week and need IP warm-up and a dedicated deliverability consultant, that is a different trade too. We are for businesses whose domain should just work.

Can you work on a domain outside Texas?

Yes. DNS has no county lines. Clients are anywhere in the United States; the work happens in registrar panels and zone files, and we talk by phone, email or chat.
