15 / Your data
Ask what we hold on you. We answer in 5 days.
If you ever sent us an inquiry about a domain name check, asked in the chat how to set up email on your domain, or simply visited, you can see that data, correct it, take a copy or have it deleted. One form below does all four.
01 / Holdings
What we can actually hand back
There are four places your data can sit with us, and each has its own clock.
| Where | What it contains | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Inquiry form | Name, phone, email, address, the kind of inquiry, your message, the specification you asked for, the consent tick. With it: IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, when the form was rendered and when it was sent. | 24 months, with email copies |
| Support chat | The conversation, plus any name, phone or email you typed in. A token in your browser lets you return to it. | 12 months |
| Server logs | IP address, page requested, time, user-agent. | 90 days |
| Consent choice | Whether you allowed or declined storage, kept in your browser under site_consent_v2. | 6 months |
No account, no password, no card. Nothing is sold on this site and no payment is taken, so there is no billing record to find. Click identifiers from ads (gclid from Google Ads, msclkid from Microsoft Advertising, fbclid from Meta) are read by those platforms under their own policies once you allow storage; we explain that in the privacy notice.
02 / Rights
What you can ask for
Anyone can ask; we do not check which state or country you write from before answering.
- Access. A copy of everything listed above that is linked to your email or phone.
- Correction. A wrong phone number, a misspelled name, a domain we noted incorrectly.
- Deletion. We delete the inquiry, its email copies and the chat. Logs age out at 90 days on their own.
- Portability. The same copy as access, as a plain JSON or CSV file.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal data. Ad measurement only runs if you allow it; declining, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, keeps it off.
California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and residents of other states with privacy laws in force have similar ones. Visitors from Europe have them under the GDPR, plus the right to object and to restrict processing. We will not treat you differently for using any of them.
One limit: if you are a current client, we keep the domain card and the written quote for the open job until it closes. Deleting them mid-job would leave your transfer or mail setup without a record of what was changed.
03 / Process
What happens after you send it
Four steps, the last one inside 5 days.
You send the request
Use the form below, email [email protected] or call +1 (861) 555-8670. You get a receipt number on screen when the form is stored.
We match it to you
We search the inquiries and chat by the email and phone you gave. If nothing matches, we tell you that, which is also an answer.
We confirm it is you
A short email to the address on file. Reply from it and we proceed.
We act and report
Within 5 days of your request: the copy attached, the correction made, or a line confirming deletion and the date it happened.
04 / Identity
Proving it is you, without a passport
We ask for the least we can: control of the email or phone you used before.
We will not ask for an ID scan. We hold too little about anyone to justify it, and an ID copy would become the most sensitive thing in our files. Replying from the same address, or answering a call to the same number, is enough.
If someone asks on your behalf, they need your signed authorisation, and we still confirm with you directly. A business asking about an employee's inquiry gets the same treatment.
05 / Form
Send a data request
Give us the email or phone you used before, so we can find the record.
06 / Complaints
If our answer is not good enough
Tell us first; if that fails, a regulator can look at it.
Reply to our answer and say what is missing. One of the two of us reads it, not a ticket queue. If you are still not satisfied, you may complain to the Attorney General of your state, and in California to the California Privacy Protection Agency. Visitors from Europe may contact the data protection authority where they live.
